Hi all

well I have been crafting so haven't fallen off the planet. I have been having my bathroom done too. Only day 3 but sick of the dust everywhere already!!!!. Just can't wait until it is done and I can sit in my dream bathroom and my dream rolltop. Ordered a bath rack with book stand and wine glass holder so I can sit for hours more in there!!!!
Ok so I have made a card using a stained tag. I love them so so much. I just love all the shabby style bits Ali has for sale at the moment so so me!

Receipe:
Stains: tumbled glass, spun sugar and dusty concord.
Pixie glen prima papers
13th Hour Kaisercraft stamp set
Prima gate stamp
Ribbon and buttons

I had so much fun making this card again love the products and they are so easy to use.

Angel inspiration

Hi all

well had a day to myself the other day and I made a canvas. I didn't know how it was going to work and I had no clue as to what it was going to end up like??!! I beleive in angels more than the next person so I asked them for help. I felt so in the zone and just painted. I started with the background and love it. I used acrylic paints and a make up brush. I wanted to add strokes of colour, like angelic strokes of light. So here is the back ground:

Then I found a picture online and loved it. I did try and draw an angel but that didn't go to well!! So i printed the picture out and then I added feathers. I also gave the edges a ripped effect. I didn't colour distress the edges as I wanted it pure white.I then added a verse. I have done a little clarigraphy before so got my pen out and free handed the verse. This is from the movie Suckerpunch. I have an angel tatoo and loved the verse so much I got this added too. I believe it sums up angels very well. So here goes the next step:

So for the next step I added Tim Holtz masks and spelt out Angel Art (this is my new business name) and then used dusty concorde and picket fence stains. I highlighted with a gold pen.
For the final part I added some flowers and added some Tim Holtz sayings and tags. I have to say I love this canvas and found my whole day angelic and enlightening. Hope you all like as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Steampunk neclace

Hi all

well after going to the steampunk event in September I was really keen to make some jewellery. I have made this necklace and love it. I have kept to the steampunky colours and I added the Little heart for the cuteness.
I have popped a few on ebay but I am going to put them in my studio as I want to have a range of items that are handmade. Hope you all like?????

Tilda..

Hi all

well I have been busy getting yummy things ready for the studio. I have been making these great Tilda cards. One was from the Tilda mag and I just loved painting the background with water colours. I used my singer that was lovingly restored and threaded by Robert so thanks so much for putting the marvelous machine back in the working mode.
The other Tilda was done using masking technique and the lovely papers from Ali.

Exciting news......

Hi all,

well I have some very very exciting news!!! I am going to be opening a Studio "Angel Art", in Bracebridge Heath Lincoln. I will be teaching classes of all varieties. There will be card making, scrapbooking, altered arts and much more!! I will be stocking the very basic in craft items such as card pick and mix, glues and tape. There will be some homemade goodies thrown in there too. I have put a list below of the classes if any one would like to do them please email me at angelart38@yahoo.co.uk and I can book you on. Please be aware places are limited and there are stairs to get to the studio. I will be providing biscuits/cakes and plenty of tea! I am so so excited to mix with like minded people and share my enthusiasum and skills. Here are the classes:

Well I have made this card and I love it. I think I was having a dark day that day. I used the stains and I love them so so much. They are easy to use and the can be used on so many things.

Hi all,
well enjoying crafting like mad along with all the other bits and pieces. Hopefully got alot happening this year all top secret at the moment but I will keep you updated!

Hi all

happy new year if a little late. Well I have been busy! I have done a scrapbook page to make a change. It is of my hubby when we went to the steampunk weekend. I love all the papers I used.

I used Tim Holtz papers, Kaisercraft 13th hour papers, The clocks are from the same Tim Holtz papers. The steampunk is from my own bits and pieces. The ribbon is the new fab ribbon Ali has. I have also used the Tim Holtz film strip. I love this as it can be used on anything and even stained.

Hi all, Great to be back to the crafting. What with working the full time and finishing only four weeks ago and then I went to centre parcs and then Christmas, so good to get creative again.
Just got Iain to put up a shelve to house all my stains yes the whole set from Ali and Iain for Christmas. I have been very curious about them as I have used all the other distress meduims and have missed out on these and I must say they are far my fave!!! Loving the effects and ease you can use them.

Here is a card and I have to say my very first background using the stains so here goes:

Receipe* Tim Holtz Stains: Dusty Concord, Pine needles, Chipped Sapphire and edges Antique Linen.
*Tim Holtz Birdsong- centre stamp
*Prima stamp set- all the other stamped images
*Papers- Kaisercraft Vintage timeless and 13th Hour
*Prima flowers
*Tim Holtz distress pad black soot using a stipple brush around the edges
*Gold pen for highlighting the image on the stamp

For the stained background, I added the stains to the heat mat and then pulled the cardstock across the card and thn spritsed and dried. I had so much fun and I am so looking forward to playing some more.

Hi all

Well firstly I would like to thank you for your lovely comments on the Christmas cards. Put a smile on my face after a very very long day. So Thanks.

I have been baking some home made gifts. Some yummy Swedish cookies. They are very very festive with not too many ingredients. So Logan and Paige helped and the recipients were very happy. Here is the recipe kindly given to me by Nina.

Recipe:

100g Sugar
150g Golden Syrup
1 teaspoon cardamon(pods crushed and shell bits removed)
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
125g butter
1 egg
550g plain flour

mix and crush the spices, add the sugar, syrup and spices to a pan and boil.
cool down
Add the soda
Add melted butter, egg and flour.
This should be cooled over night, but I am too inpatient for that I rolled added a little more butter if needed and cut into heart shapes. I then put into a hot oven until browned (about 7 mins) The mixture needs to be rolled out thinly.

A very yummy gift. And I have added a cake I also made. So I have been busy kitchen crafting.

Hi all

well I know it seems late but when I was working I never found a moment to make the x-ma cards so I actually sat down an made a select few!!!

I used lots of yummy papers and some stamps from Lilly of The Valley. I used stickles and pulled out my fluffy stuff. I had great fun using it on the little fluffy sheep. For my daughters nativity they had to have a green sheep as it was flying and ill very strange if you ask me!!!

Hi all,
Well been far too long! So sorry. I have now left my job to concentrate on being a mummy and crafter and bring you all weekly blog shots. So some fab cards winging there way here soon. We are coming up with some great new projects and fun stuff in the coming months so keep an eye on the blog and the website.

So back to crafty stuff. I had an amazing time at the steampunk weekend. We have booked for next year already. The kids loved it. Have a look see at the outfits and the fab hat. I made a few bits of the costumes and put them all together. Next year we are going to make them bigger and better.

I have gone card mad at the moment I made hubby a card for his birthday and believe it or not whipped it up in no time and had so much fun. I have used a printed picture and sanded it. I then put the card together and added a fragment to the picture. The film strip is so versatile tim holtz little number and can be used on scrapbooks, boxes the lot.

Well off now to craft some more

Well my steampunk day out is getting very close yipppeeeeee. I decided to make my own hat as I have bought so many little bits to wear and I thought I may be up to the challenge, I was thinking steampunk/ crooked old man style. So here it is step by step.
The first part I caut grunge paper to the correct size that I wanted, then I punched holes as I want a lace effect all around the hat. Then I have distressed and screwed up the grunge paper, we all love getting messy and I did. Then I cut sections at the top and bottom as I need to eventually add a hat top and rim. I am going to blog agagin the next step in a few days so watch this space as I am a few days ahead it is looking fab!!! love and bugs xxxxxxx

there is no place like home but that is not this one i about. I have done a yummy Graphic 45 altered box all (well mainly) there papers and stamps and lots of fabby other bits. Athough it took me a few long nights to do I did it and quite like it too. Although the pictures are not great here is my Wizard of OZ altered box. Gosh it has been far too long.......

hello all I am still here!!! I am posting a birthday card it is lush. This is an uber cute stamp, I bought it as it reminded me of Paige my daughter! she is a paddy pants when required! I am loving my cuttle bug again, you can cut loads of dies from it and the effect some of them create is great. Well Ali and Iain start the shows soon I am making some great bits with the graphic 45 papers so keep an eye out as behind the scenes I am working my socks off. For all those who know me I have started up my art degree again need to get a wiggle on and get creative again!! Oh and fitting that into full time work, two kids, hubby working away and crafting is like juggling lots of balls in the air but life would be dull without it all. well a little bit of sunshine is great! makes everyone so happy. I have been busy busy so I am now going to blog some of the great things I have been doing. I did the following steampunk bits at the Lincoln show (yep feels like ages ago) I just love all the graphic 45 papers and you know all you have to do is rip a bit here and a bit there and add it to the card/tag or scrap page. I never know what I am going to before I sit down with these great pads of paper and then wow just add a bit here and there and then done! hope you all enjoy.

Wow looking out of the window today you would think it was winter all over again!!!! The heating was back on as it is freezing!

A massive contrast to my summery card that I made last night for a lady at work. It is a Tilda card and I water colour painted all the flowers and background so rather chuffed. See I am getting back in the creative swing now I am settling into working life again!
Well Ali and Iain are due back from Taunton where they also tagged on a few days holiday, only to be struck with a popped tyre on the way down. I am sure they made up for it in cakes and coffee and a little shopping.

Well hope you all like the Tilda creation. Just ordered some yummy stamps so when they get here I will blog a few more creations.

Lincoln show weekend

Hi all

wow where has the week gone???? I was demoing at the Lincoln show this weekend (just gone) what a great turn out. Thanks all of you who said hello and had a natter I had a great day felt good doing it again. The papers I was using were so yummy it made my job 100 times easier.
Here are just two cards I made, they are very very steampunk!!! Thanks to the lady and gent who told me all about the steampunk convention in September I have booked my tickets and we are taking the kids I can't wait.

well today Ali and Iain have been away in Liverpool. I did the project today for the club. A tag style book. I just had to blog Laura's she did a fab job. She is such a clever lady. The inner pages have all been stamped, they just look so like papers. Like I say she is so clever and did a great job.

Hi all

well the novelty of work is wearing thin now I want to be at home!!! had a major brain fart today nearly cried but hey too much pressure to get it right coming from me. Never mind.
Ali and Iain are off to Liverpool on Thursday so I will be at the club on Saturday to do the project so I will see you all there.
Here is a fabby card I made to order for a girl at work it is for her mum who is mini mad. So very cool. My first car was a red mini so very close to my heart.

Second part of configurations

Hi all

here is the second part of my Birthday configuration box hope you all like.

This is the next step I have added the small left box and found a cute Elli to add to the box and distressed the edges using the spiced Marmalade distress ink and weaver brush. I have also added in the bottom right box a polymer glow in the dark steampunk monster I made (the 1st one nearly set my house on fire my beautiful range cooker nearly went up in flames oopppsss). In the top box I have added a triple embossed number 7.

Here is the final piccy of the finished box as you can see I have added a perty bunting. So cute. And you can add anything you want and make it uber cute and fun. Well I hope you all love it. Love and bugs andreax

Configurations. Birthday style

Hi all

well the great weather has not done much for my crafting but I felt very guilty after a few people at the craft club yesturday (great to see you all) said I had not blogged for a wee while sorry all, I have put in extra work today promise!!!!

My little boy Logan is going to be 7 very soon and I have decided as many of you want to do a Tim Holtz configuration bax but don't want to alter it too much, to do a happy Birthday one. This would make a great gift or fancy card? Or even be geat for a birth of a baby.
I have done a 7 year old boy one here it is!!!

As you can see this is the first part done with all the inner boxes removed. I have distressed the edges with cut and dry and distress ink, in Weathered wood and Shabby shutter. I have chosen some paper from my stash and a little photo of Logan.

This is the second step, for this I have cut strips of the yummy paper to fit on all the outer edges and the back of the confiuration box.

This is the Third step and the last I am going to blog today you will all have to come back tomorrow to see the final bits. For this I have added two configuration boxes to the bottom, a small and rectangle one. for the small box I reversed it and added a picture on the front then went round it with spiced marmalade distress ink, this time with a dreamweaver brush. Then I cut and glued paper strip to the inner parts of the rectangle and distressed the edges to create a rusty look with Spiced Marmalade again.

Hi all

no I haven't hidden away under the duvet in the horror that is the kids holidays aahhhh. I have been very busy, sorting hubby and kids so I haven't blogged for ages sorry all :(
Baby Harper is doing great he is only still 9 weeks old and is sitting and staying and doing so so well. Stu (hubby) loves him, has a new baby.

Anyways I have done a few cards with the new stamps Ali has, here is the first one 'Play' it was great using the pastel colours and banners. I had lots of fun doing this one as it was one of those cards that comes together with no thought. I love those types especially when it is hot outside.
Ali and Iain saw lots of you at Ally Pally last week and are off to Dublin tomorrow, they are currently staying in a field in a log type cabin (probably more like a shed) with a pub close by (so lets hope Iain doesn't get lost in the field on the way back from the pub) somewhere at the top of Scotland!!!!

Blogging a little late on in the week for this challenge but I have been busy crafting all week so I have been good????!!! I have ended up having to make 6 mothers day cards so I hate it all now! I have had a little foot warmer in the way of Harper in my craft room so he has settled in great!

well baby is settling in just fine. He is so so good just got to get the paper training off to a tea now!!

here is a card I did with the Graphic 45 papers Steampunk debutant. I used the lady and I then used the new Graphic 45 stamps Ali has in and they match with the papers so even more steampunk fun to be had!!!! I added the cogs to the hair of the stamped lady and I must say I just love the colours. Had loads of fun doing this card. Chack out Ali's website for more of the yummy stamps she has in at the mo.

Hi all
Here is my new baby and we have called him Harper. I was reading a great book from the amazing Charlaine Harris and the main character all be it a girl is called Harper so we like that name. As you can see I have settled him in the craft room in his basket so I can still get some crafting done when he is asleep!!! so like having a baby all over again I am shattered.

So I have been busy crafting and it feels great after a few days running around on wee wee patrol!

Bingo Tag, I have used Bingo numbers but distressed them in Black soot. I have used a fagment with paper stack and a ticket (play).

I have used a fragment on this tag, putting Tim Holtz paper behing and old book. So not a piccy of me!!

Hi all

well today I have been basking in the sun. It has been such a lovely day here and they reckon tomorrow is going to be even hotter. Can't wait. The sun makes everyone happy, it's great.
I have in between basking been playing with my Tim Holtz goodies and have made some tags. So nice not making cards for a change. I have used the Sizzex dye, Tattered florals. I used an old book to cover the flowers in grunge paper and distressed the outer parts.
I used 7 Gypsies tissue paper - Bird cage, for the background. The other papers on the tags and behind the tags have come from the 12x12 paper stacks.
All great fun and added a little glitter as I love the stickles!!!

Hi all

here is a card I did using the steampunk Inkadinkado stamps. Ali got them in and I just had to have a set and have a go!!! I used cosmic shimmer embossing powder in gold on a black card. I used a Tim Holtz vile to add a few steampunk gears and glossy accents. I also used some Graphic 45 papers. All good fun.

Totally Gorjuss challenge..Button it!!

Hi all

being organised this week, how long that will last who knows????? already had a mad moment on Saturday, decided to paint the small hallway in my house a kind of purple/blue colour!!!!! once started wondered what the hell I was doing but it looks fab although a little more blue on one bit, but that is what you get when you mix your own paint!!!!! Hubby yet to see but hey I can look at it and say yep felt silly that day hey ho!!!!!
Here is my challenge card for the Totally Gorjuss challenge this week, Button it!! love my buttons so all good there. I have a few cards ready to pop on the blog so watch this space.

Hi all

I am back again! been uba busy. Getting a new baby puppy and wanted to show everyone a little pic but my computer (main one) has crashed aaaaahhhhhhh and I can't get it working again. So have no pic as the oly one I had was on there!!!!!! He is a boy a springer, just haven't thought of a name yet and running out of time now, so any ideas will be great.

Anyway on the craft front did a challenge card and my mind must have been in the clouds so put the wrong stamp on it and can't use it aaaahhhh, so started my Tim Holtz configurations and having lots of fun. I have added a pic of my first step. Useing Tim papers and tissue tape. I have been collecting lots of yummy things to add into it so all great. I will blog the first box I get done. Steampunk necklace

Hi all
I made this steampunk necklace yesterday. Ali has some yummy steampunk pieces in at the mo and I couldn't wait to use them. I have used bits of old ear rings and Tim Holtz bottles. I made mine into the alice 'Drink Me' bottle, I love that film Jonny Depp is ace as the Mad Hatter and well he is ace!!!
Right off to get some cards done when I have gotten rid of my steaming headache!

Nearly there very excited!

A bit of a close up!!!!
Hi all,
well here it is I am very excited as I have finished it off today and you are all going to have to wait for that bit until tomorrow!!!
This layer was all done in mind of having a texture in the tree area and of course the body of the angel being the block colour. I have used a lino cutting tool to remove some of the layer in a textured effect. I used oil again in a off brown/gray colour.
Have a sneek peek tomorrow for the final bit!!
Ali has me doing a Tim Holtz distress box! I am so so excited as I was blog surfing last night and saw some amazing bits and bobs and I thought "I would love to do that". Low and behold I bagged myself the goodies this morning, already been through Logan's toy cars to get one to batter and distress ohhh watch this space I promise it won't take a year!!!!

Reduction Print part 2

Hi all
well it is late but been busy busy being mum's taxi and all that good stuff. Here is the second layer of my print. As you can see it developing it is an angel on a tree, a curly one. I loved cutting the wings and think the brown layer looks great over the blue. I have been working on my next layer today so I will also blog that asap. Again done in oil. Hope you all like?!
Ali got some yummy Tim Holtz goodies today so yep been scouring through the boxes hiding the best bits up my jumper.

Hi all

this is the first step of my reduction Lino print. I am enjoying doing this print and wanted to share it with you all, as I do more than card making. I have been a busy bee so more to blog in the following week.
I have used oil based ink and printed the image through my homemade print press (Ellison machine, that belongs to dad!) I am going to leave you guessing at the mo what the image will finally be of. Check back tomorrow for the next print.

slowly getting back into things. Have been uber busy this week, had the brother/sister in law up the last few days with their little boy, had lots of fun and my kids loved it. Well except for when Logan ran in the pool and got a large lumpy bump on his head poor wee man. But all back to school today and all I want to do is slob out and eat!!!! But between all that slobbery managed to do the challenge for this weeks Ink and my fingers. The theme was Paris, a tricky one?! But got my Steampunkery papers back out as I love them and they are very Paris. Added Tim Holtz bits and bobs and added the birdcage I got from Rose the other week a great nestability, so all good fun. Right off for a brew and more sofa slobbing before I collect the kids!

Egg-tastic

I told you all I was being creative yesterday!!!
This is Logan's (my little boy) egg for Banardos. He had to decorate an egg and he has to carry it around all week and tell people what the egg did, he is not aloud to crack it and all the money goes to Banardos. He wanted a spartan, so I had my hands full after all it is an egg!!!! so King Leonidas (wish we had the real dishy one at home!!) got pants, a sword and even a beard!! how cool, and every step I had to run by the little budding designer and alot of things were too rubbish for his spartan. Paige is going to do the same for fun, she has a little girl egg and said she was the designer like Gok!!!! Bag and all.
The eggs smell already so I can see we are going to have an egg-tastic week!!!!!

Ali has some more Graphic 45 papers so I have managed to play with some more. I have made this mans card, using the paper pad and a few embellishments. I than added some crackle glaze to make it look aged. I had great fun splodging it all over very messy and great.
Off for some retail therapy now, to get some yummy cushions and candles for my window seat that hubby is going to build when he gets five mins.

although this card is not as altered as my last few I love it, my fave part is the big bow. I have done this card for the Totally Gorjuss challenge this week. I have been naughty and only managed this one this week. Had my course work comments back and I have had slapped hands in a way I must work harder and I know it so got to sketch, sketch, sketch.

Hi all

well Ali had a box delivered yesterday and I just had to have the graphic 45 papers and buttons, all good fun, she is away at a show at the moment and hasn't even looked in the box herself. I did this altered card that just threw itself on the page. I love all the odd bit I have thrown on it. I also used some distress inks and cosmic shimmers and loads of blingy bits. Ohhhhh I just love these papers they are steampunkery style, if you asked Ali the brand you would guarantee to get some naughty words back, she swore twice in the same sentence when she was trying to tell me what was coming. She shouldn't be let loose at all these shows they are making her naughty!!!!!!!
well hope you all like and I will be back off to make some more soon Logan has the rugby on and I thought hubby was bad for it, although I like it loads better than football, all those rugby players in tight shorts just fabby. And we have a great divide here Stu(hubby) is Scottish and I am English so that is always a great game.

I have done the challenge over at Totally Gorjuss, as you like. This was good as it is easing me back in to the challenges. I could do anything I liked. I went mad for the candy colours and that is good for me as I usually hate yellow but wanted loads of it on this card. here is the card I have done for the Wags and Whiskers challenge this week, the theme was WHITE. The only part of the card that could have any colour was the image. so yep quite hard when you sit down and actually do it but I used my fave stamp at the moment, a sugar nellie one, he is adorable. Reminds me of my little boy Logan as he has a teddy in hand 24/7.

Hi all,
well as you can tell I survived Paige's party just!!!! cracked open a bottle of wine after though. The kids loved the teddies and all took them to school for show and tell the next day, so did something right.
I have been getting on with my course work and will post some of that in the next few days as it is getting interesting to even none crafters. I have been busy with the distress pads and Tim Holtz products, so here is a card and tag. For the card I didn't know what was going to happen it just came to me while doing it (that doesn't happen too often) I used the Tim Holtz paper stack 12x12 Ideaology. I cut the clock out and mounted it. I added my own alcohol inked background, some distressed tags and lots of glittery bits, a film strip from my old photos and some Tim Holtz stamps that have all come on they are so great this time round. Ali has some great prices on these on her website, yummy. For the tag I made a grunge paper flower loads of distress inks that made a lovely mess of my new painted nails! and some great Tim Holtz bits and bobs all great fun.

Ali has gone mad....... again

what a great day yesterday. I did the project at Ali's craft club. Thanks all of you who did the project and some of you were surprised about how much you enjoyed it. A good thing. It had been a long time since I stood up and did a project so a little nerve racking but I loved it. Thanks again. As I was saying at the club Ali did a canvas with the melting pot and a wacky idea. She came through to my house and said right get your clothes off!!!!!! I have a few to say the least of tattoos and she had seen something online. So I went along with her crazy idea as you do!!! Felt like I was being cast in a pornographic photo shoot but all done nicely and not too many wobbly bits on show. The out come as you can see is a great canvas, we used the melting pot and threw alsorts into it. I didn't want a go at first but all the mess was very drawing and I ended up having loads of fun. The melted liquid dried very quickly and into it was (I would to say placed) threw keys,cogs,buttons and a mish mash of things. Then distressed using inks and perfect pearls. We had loads of fun and now the picture is hung up in the porch. It looks fab.

Just finished my second assignment for my course work (I am studying Printmaking) just started the long climb to a degree in Fine Arts. I am pleased with this one. Shows I do a little more than card making and sewing etc, etc. It is a Lino print and I am sure you have all done it at school at some time. This is a three layer and 3 colour print. Hope you all like. Got some great things to blog but Ali takes rubbish photo's so I will have to take them again tomorrow she has been very crafty lately a shock to everyone who knows her. Stamped on chipboard, after distressing it with the eco paint, then layering it with the new fab papers Ali has in. then just added ribbon and flowers, love this one.

Tim Holtz stamp done on core card. then I added the script cuttlebug paper distressed. Then I added a few embelishments easy but effective.

Crafty individuals stamps, The buildings are the fab christmas stamp, The boat is a new crafty individual stamp, I love all the layers that I don't normaly use, so new ideas.

Hi all been a busy little bee me.....

I have just completed my first assignment on my degree and loved it. I also have my fingers in all sorts of pies all crafty ones. I have been doing Ali some cards for the shows and have been making fabric goodies for my Christmas Fair's if I do any. I have added a few cards for you all to look at, the seaside ones are the newish Crafty Individuals. I have also added the lady stamps that Ali has made and are now on sale if you like these she will have them on her website ASAP, you can just drop her an email if you need one now. I have to have everything lush just now.
Well kids back to school tomorrow and I can say thank god. It has been a long week, we had a spooky Halloween, a fab ghost walk in the village. We have a cram packed November and December on the cards but I am making a new year resolution early blog blog blog.

Hi all I haven't dropped dead, just surviving the school holidays!
I have been a very busy bee and not touched one card. I have been doing my course in Nottingham and in between that been a busy bee decorating the house and getting it finished off. Been to Splash Landings with the kids and hubby. Also just enrolled in an OCA distance learning course that will help towards a degree in Creative Arts. So yep been busy.
I have added some pics of the book we have been working on in Nottingham. We covered a book with fabric, then painted, distressed and added fabrics onto sheets of very big paper to create the pages of the book. This was great fun and a weekly therapy session. We then cut ad distressed the paper and then threaded it and bound it into a book. We added buttons and text to the pages and lots of lush text. I have to say I love touching the book and loved using all new things I hadn't before. I will write again soon with the yummy dolls we distressed and made.

Well I have been so so so busy this week don't know how I fit sleeping in????
My daughter Paige sang in a cluster choir in Lincoln cathedral on Wednesday and she was amazing (she is only 7) but made me so very proud in a great historical, spiritual place singing her heart out.
I have blogged the book I did today at The textile workshop in Nottingham with Claire today. I really really enjoyed sitting quietly (no racing around) for a few hours and crafting. I used Paper Artsy stamps, loads of distress inks and some fab papers and stamps (postage kind) I am pleased with what I did and came away refreshed. Going to need that off to demo at Doncaster on Sunday, been a while so got to get back into it. Next week I may even get to do some challenge cards I keep meaning to do at the beginning of the week.

I made these cute cards today for my brother Tim and his wife Cherida who live in America. They have just been given a little 2 week baby girl called Isabella to foster, fingers crossed it will go further and they may adopt. She is lovely I am so so pleased for my little brother, giving his love to children who need it. A star.

Been assembling a fab climbing frame/swing thing for the kids today they are very very spoilt. Poor dad has been has been helping with the mountain of flat pack what a nightmare. I will add a picture when It is up and the kids are having bundles of fun.

Hi all, I have been so busy lately my little feet have not touched the floor. The show at the weekend in Lincoln was great. I was supposed to be having a day out but ended up helping Ali and Iain on the stand. It was great fun though as I got to see so many people. I took my new little creations out with me and they got a great reaction. They are my sock buddies, so I have made 10 more to be taken to Edinburgh this weekend!! They are crossing the boarder.
I will set a new challenge in the next few days I have not been lazy just busy and the lovely school hollies are great! We took the kids to Skeggy today I did not know what to expect but it was great seeing the kids light up on the beach and have loads of fun. The weather helped loads how nice and it is going to just get better over the next few days!!!!!

Well I am still here! I have been very busy this week I have a new project in the pipe line. I will blog them soon enough! I have done a couple of Tilda cards I will blog those tomorrow, been very naughty, just not enough hours in the day especially when I have been gallivanting!!
I have just come back from London, my very first time. I went for an early birthday prezzie and it was fab. Me and the hubby saw the fab Phantom Of The Opera and it was spine chilling. So romantic so I am on cloud nine, just as I can't walk anymore, my legs and feet are so so sore, but it was all worth it. I have added some pics.

Hi all I would like to introduce my new range of stamps. Myself and my hubby are Angel Art and we brought you all the Ugly Bugs last year. In between everything we have been beavering on a new set. They are 'Angels'. I absolutely love them Hubby has done a great job again (he draws them). My favorite one is 'Rose Angel', I love her hair and she could be a mermaid or Angel.

Tilda and Edwin mad or just mad!

I have gone mad over Tilda and Edwin, well in between getting all my new demo cards ready for my new range of stamps launching on the weekend!!!
I have done this pirate one, it was for my little boy Logan's birthday but I changed my mind and did him another, he is only 6 and a male so just shakes the card for the money to drop out then throws the card never to be seen again.
What horrid weather this weekend, shouldn't expect anything else! Have been playing though with the re-inkers and colouring with them, I love them all.
I have also decided today that someone in my house eats the toilet roll. Every time I go to use it I have to change it!!!! maybe the cat has been hiding it??

well off to think over some more designs

Hip Hip horay!!!!!
Ha all I absolutely love the sunshine. It makes everything all happy. I have been working hard in my Craft room but that is all top secret as we have our new stamp range coming out in a week or two so very excited!!!!
I made these cards I have posted at the Saturday craft group. They are all shabby and lush, so I was pleased with them. The tea-party one is a crafty individuals stamp. You can get that from Ali.
My wedding anniversary today only a ickle 8 years but that is a long time. And we have done so much in those years. But long continue our fun as it has been the best 8 years of my life. A very happy bunny. Got a stash of crafty bits so over the moon.

How exciting New Digi Downloads are here!!!

Hi all I am so very excited to introduce you to my new fab Digi-Downloads. They are very hot for our first ones!!!! Great for those male cards we all struggle with all the time. We thought as both being in the RAF they would be great to send instead of a bluey to family and friends who are serving away from home as they do need a pick me up and the market is lacking in something bit juicy! And for all those hormonal teenagers!!
I will have a gallery on Ali-Craft website as of tomorrow but I have put all of the cards I have been making on this post. I hope you all love them as much as I do. My hubby Stu is the artist and NO I have not modelled for these as I am sure I will get asked this lots. (If only my bum and belly were that wobble free!!!). Totally gorjuss blog challange card charmed

Hi all,
I did this fab card for the Totally gorjuss challenge this week. The hubby and the kids were watching a rubbish movie, so I whipped it together. Loving the sun and all the flowers at the mo. Sitting in the conservatory/ craft room has never been so lush.

Took my little boy to a birthday party yesterday and made a very quick card for his friend, note to self don't leave it till the last minute!!! but came out good all the same. Will post the stuff I did at the last crafty group tomorrow had loads of fun, it was great to see everyone.

I have been sorting the house out and lost days like I wouldn't believe. The kids have been on holidays too and time has just flown in, not that I am complaining!!!
Ali and I sat down and did some crafting last night the card and box above are my fave. I love the tree some of the new paper artsy stamps Ali has in. Very very me.
I have also added Lou she makes up part of my new design team. We are starting the challenge Tomorrow ohhh can't wait. I am going to run it for a few weeks and have lots going on soon. I hope you can all join in as there will be a prize. Next challenge I will be adding Rose and Laura to the design team. Can't wait.

Totally gorguss blog challange card

Hi all
well feeling very chirpy today, must be the fab weather at last!!!
I made this card for the Totally Gorguss challenge this week. You had to use ribbon. I did it yesterday while I was waiting to collect my daughter. My little boy Logan helped me he chose the button and the I love you button and I (for the first time in ages) threw the card together! Wish they all happend like that. Just got to sort my camera now so the picture is not blury!!!
As you can see I used my Martha Stewart punch, loving them.
Ali and Iain are at Birmingham show this week, thinking of them and all the hard work! So if you are visiting pop over and say Hi.

Just Magnolia challange

Hi all

right I am finaly getting sorted. I have made a Magnolia card for the challange over at Just Magnolia. Hope you like it? I used my new Martha stewart punch and my new Magnolia banner stamp. I enjoyed this card as it was done with no kids or cats running about so silence! Then I went off and stripped the sills in my kitchen. So although putting my feet up for a few days (as there are workmen all over mums house), getting the rubbish jobs done.
Getting all of my forthcoming challanges set out in my soon to expolde mind, must get some paper and write them down!!!

Grunge Roses

Well we had a crafting get together today with Sue, Rose and Laura. We wanted to try out the new Tim Holtz goodies and it was very messy but lots of fun. Rose is great with the sprays. Everyone bought a talent to the table and it was great.
We made roses using the grunge paper then distressed them with the distress inks. As you can tell tags are big and I did a huge one so that I could attach a rose.
My kitty is doing great at home and is walking around and has been given a great report at the vets so a very pleased mummy.
Ali hopes to see lots of you at Birmingham this week, starts Thursday - Sunday.

Hi all
Ali and I have been doing loads of tags today with the new Tim Holtz stamps, distress inks and grunge.It was great fun very messy and great. The new stamps are fab, although they seem expensive they are all so amazing, great to stamp with, great designs, and they come on plastic binders so you can put them in a folder. And as I am learning in life you get what you pay for. And they are fab. We used all the new distress inks (you can also find them on the website Ali has them on there at a great offer price).
Kitty is doing well she is having lots of tablets but is back home and in a cage to help her heal poor baby.

Hi all
A little late for the Happy mothers day bit but I wanted my mum to get her card first before I blogged it. Only seemed right as she likes to look at the blog daily!!
I have posted the cards I got from my two little angels, given with lots of love, breakfast in bed with a disaster of tea spilt on the floor narrowly missed!!
For my mums card I used my lush new Martha Stewart punch and Tim holtz stamps as Ali had these dropped off in the week, and they are so so so fab. They had to sit wrapped up and to be looked at for a few days as my poor little kitty got hit by a car on Friday morning so been very sad and low. She is alive and has been at the vets all weekend she has a broken pelvis and is very poorly. Poor little mite, so been too sad to even use my new bits. Once she is ok I will make loads and loads of cards as the ideas are all up in my head somewhere!
Very exciting my first ever candy is finishing tomorrow night at midnight so the winner will be posted on Tuesday so watch this space good luck everyone and thanks so much for the great comments.

Flutterby crazy

Gone all flutterby crazy today. Ali wanted some cards doing for the show and of course I jumped at the chance. We did some fab things with butterfly stamps. The first (splodgy purple card, and my favorite) I used alcohol inks as the background and then stamped the lush inkadinkado stamps on using archival ink. I love the vibrant colours on this one and would say I am going purple mad.
The other card (the red and black one) was stamped using a magenta butterfly stamp. I am happy with how they look and I had loads of fun.
Still have not done my challenge card that I messed up but been so busy decorating. Just got the kitchen to go now and that is good as I only moved in my new house in December so very happy every other room fully decorated. Then I can get on with the crafting full time. Can't wait!!!!

Hi all
I have done a card for a blog challenge tonight. Thought I was being a smarty pants and was getting organized!! Got the card wrong boo hoo, thought it was a bog standard card required but I was wrong. Oh well, love the card so thought I would post it anyway.
I have used the new inkadinkado stamps, the little flowers and saying. Ali has yet to see them I got in first. They are so fab and great to use, they look lush on the corners and are so girly and pretty. I will be off to get my card right now!!!
