I have done the challenge over at Totally Gorjuss, as you like. This was good as it is easing me back in to the challenges. I could do anything I liked. I went mad for the candy colours and that is good for me as I usually hate yellow but wanted loads of it on this card. The strip of paper has the cute little houses on and yummy loads of glitter (that I added, with great care with wobbly hands).

Wags and Whiskers Challenge..White

Hi all
here is the card I have done for the Wags and Whiskers challenge this week, the theme was WHITE. The only part of the card that could have any colour was the image. so yep quite hard when you sit down and actually do it but I used my fave stamp at the moment, a sugar nellie one, he is adorable. Reminds me of my little boy Logan as he has a teddy in hand 24/7.
Enjoyed getting back to doing the challenges long may it continue.

Hi all,
well as you can tell I survived Paige's party just!!!! cracked open a bottle of wine after though. The kids loved the teddies and all took them to school for show and tell the next day, so did something right.
I have been getting on with my course work and will post some of that in the next few days as it is getting interesting to even none crafters. I have been busy with the distress pads and Tim Holtz products, so here is a card and tag. For the card I didn't know what was going to happen it just came to me while doing it (that doesn't happen too often) I used the Tim Holtz paper stack 12x12 Ideaology. I cut the clock out and mounted it. I added my own alcohol inked background, some distressed tags and lots of glittery bits, a film strip from my old photos and some Tim Holtz stamps that have all come on they are so great this time round. Ali has some great prices on these on her website, yummy. For the tag I made a grunge paper flower loads of distress inks that made a lovely mess of my new painted nails! and some great Tim Holtz bits and bobs all great fun.

Paige's Birthday

Hi all

well I did these invites about two weeks ago, they are for my little (well not so now) girls Birthday. Paige is 8 on Monday so her party is on Sunday, we are having a build a bear and jewellery making party. Oh and loads of food and cake is a must. I kept the design simple as I did 4. Hope you like and I will report back see if my house is still standing on Monday with 6 kids. I am only used to 2.

Ali has gone mad....... again

Hi all
what a great day yesterday. I did the project at Ali's craft club. Thanks all of you who did the project and some of you were surprised about how much you enjoyed it. A good thing. It had been a long time since I stood up and did a project so a little nerve racking but I loved it. Thanks again. As I was saying at the club Ali did a canvas with the melting pot and a wacky idea. She came through to my house and said right get your clothes off!!!!!! I have a few to say the least of tattoos and she had seen something online. So I went along with her crazy idea as you do!!! Felt like I was being cast in a pornographic photo shoot but all done nicely and not too many wobbly bits on show. The out come as you can see is a great canvas, we used the melting pot and threw alsorts into it. I didn't want a go at first but all the mess was very drawing and I ended up having loads of fun. The melted liquid dried very quickly and into it was (I would to say placed) threw keys,cogs,buttons and a mish mash of things. Then distressed using inks and perfect pearls. We had loads of fun and now the picture is hung up in the porch. It looks fab.

Hi all,
Ali has been going mad!!!! she has caught the bug. There has been craft stuff all over her lounge for the past well probably week now and she has been beavering away. Her latest cards are using alcohol inks and they look great. She has tided away today much to Iain's relief he has his table back to put his feet up on. I think you have done a great job Mum hope that is not it now for the year!!!!

Course work

Hi all

Just finished my second assignment for my course work (I am studying Printmaking) just started the long climb to a degree in Fine Arts. I am pleased with this one. Shows I do a little more than card making and sewing etc, etc. It is a Lino print and I am sure you have all done it at school at some time. This is a three layer and 3 colour print. Hope you all like. Got some great things to blog but Ali takes rubbish photo's so I will have to take them again tomorrow she has been very crafty lately a shock to everyone who knows her. But some great stuff so she has been busy.

Happy new year.....

Stamped on chipboard, after distressing it with the eco paint, then layering it with the new fab papers Ali has in. then just added ribbon and flowers, love this one.



Tim Holtz stamp done on core card. then I added the script cuttlebug paper distressed. Then I added a few embelishments easy but effective.


Crafty individuals stamps, The buildings are the fab christmas stamp, The boat is a new crafty individual stamp, I love all the layers that I don't normaly use, so new ideas.

thank crunchie it is all over, I am a bah humbug, all that hard work, too much food and feeling like you have to buy a ton of gifts.
Well back to crafting getting ready for the shows and making the demo cards for the show boards. Here are a few. Loving all the new stamps Ali has in. Well I am going to be on my best behavior this year and blog lots.
